January 30th at Salt Creek Beach in Laguna, California was host to this years BIA 2010 California Pro Tour Event #1. At first light, conditions were prime. Tide on the rise, increasing 3-5ft mixing swell and offshore winds had the BIA staff working fast to get the tents, banners and stages set to send the 1st heat in the water. As the day went on, conditions stayed good and the heats got critical as competitors were being eliminated.
